Dr. David Altman was born in Annapolis, MD. He graduated as the class valedictorian from Edgewater High School in Orlando, FL. Following receiving a B.S. from Duke University, he earned a D.M.D degree at the University of Florida College of Dentistry. His graduate studies and residency were done at the University of Maryland. In 1990, he joined his father in the specialty practice of Periodontics in downtown Orlando. His particular focuses in Periodontics are in regenerative, cosmetic and implant treatment. Dr. Altman is a member of the American Dental Association, the Dental Society of Greater Orlando, the American Academy of Periodontology, the Florida Association of Periodontology, and the Southern Academy of Periodontology. Dr. Altman spends his free time enjoying family life with his wife, Sherry and his son, Preston. His interests include sports, travel, and outdoor activities.
